Hi, this is Dr. Dora Lee. As we come towards the end of sheltering at home, I want to let you know that we’re so excited to open our doors to you again. In a small practice like ours, each one of you is like family to us, and I’d like to take a couple minutes of your time to personally show you what we’re doing here to prepare our office for your visit and some of the changes we’re making to ensure a smooth and safe transition as we reopen our doors. One of the first things you’ll notice is a wellness form along with your confirmation text or email. We’ll ask that you take a few seconds to fill this out and submit it.
If you or your child has experienced a fever, cough, or have been exposed to anyone that’s COVID positive, please let us know. When you arrive for your appointment, you’ll check in virtually from your car. Simply text us letting us know that you’ve arrived. We’ll ask that you wait in your car until we alert you to come in. Remember, you are now entering a mask-on zone.
So please don’t forget to wear a mask for you and your child. Once you enter the office, you’ll notice you won’t need to check in again, but please do make a stop at our hand station and sanitize you and your child’s hands. Before we start your visit, as an added measure, we ask that you allow us to take you and your child’s temperature. We are taking every measure of prevention to make sure that our practice is safe for you and our team. Each of our rooms will have an air filtration system to circulate and clean the air.
Our systems are medical-grade HEPA filters that are proven to clean effectively and efficiently. Our treatment rooms have always been and always will meet the highest standards of infection control. We provide barriers for anything that requires touch and use disposable items whenever possible. It is a requirement for our team to have periodic training on infection control so that we’re always on top of the most recent changes.
When the appointment is over, you’ll check out as usual and make your next appointment. We pride ourselves on providing the best experience for your child. While some of the new additions are for extra safety precautions, we promise it won’t take away from your child’s experience. Your child will still receive the same warm welcome and great treatment as always. We miss you and we can’t wait to see you again
